PCM Storage Profile Types

Storage profiles A configuration template that defines packet capture parameters. define where the Packet Capture Module stores PCAP Packet Capture. A file format that contains captured network packet data, typically used for network analysis and troubleshooting. files. PCAP files are stored in customer managed repositories that you configure and manage.

When you create a storage profile, you specify the storage type and connection details. The Packet Capture Module uses this profile to upload harvested PCAP files to your designated storage location.

Currently, two storage types are supported:

• Amazon S3 Bucket

• Azure Blob Storage

You can configure multiple Storage Profiles based on your need for separation, usually by department or division. You select which Storage Profile to use when you issue a Harvest command.
