Add an Riverbed Edge Wizard

This wizard enables you to define a new Riverbed Edge instance. The wizard comprises the following pages:

• Basic Details: Specify a meaningful name for the Edge and indicate its type (AWS, Azure, or ESXi).

• IP Config: Specify network address for the Edge either as dynamic (select Use DHCP) or static (select Use a static IP and provide IP address details).

• Connection Config: If necessary, specify the connection type for the Edge:

  • If the Edge does not have access to the Internet, specify a proxy to use.

    • Note: Edge only supports HTTP and HTTPS protocols for proxies.

  • If the Edge has only port 443 open to the Internet, click Use Websockets.

• Review: Verify this summary of the Edge's definition before you click Submit to make it manageable with Riverbed IQ Ops.
