Using Insights in the Workspaces Insight Library

The Workspaces Library lists preconfigured workspaces you can open and run. You can also create a new workspace from scratch or customize any workspace by adding, removing, or configuring widgets.

Adding and customizing widgets with the widget picker

When you create a new workspace or edit an existing one, you use the widget picker to add widgets to the canvas.

  1. Open the Workspaces Library and either click Create New Workspace (which opens Insight Studio) or open an existing workspace and click the edit (pencil) button to enter edit mode.

  2. Click Add Widgets in the toolbar to open the widget picker.

  3. Choose a widget from the list. The picker shows the widgets available for your environment and data sources.

  4. Configure the widget if prompted (for example, data source, runbook, or visualization options).

  5. Position and resize the widget on the canvas as needed.

For a full list of widgets and what each one does, see List of Widgets. For detailed configuration steps (query, visualization, interactions), see Configuring a Widget.

Preconfigured Insights
