Configuring the Vantage Point Widget
The Vantage Point widget is a control that lets users select one or more vantage points (data sources). The selection is sent to other widgets in the workspace that are configured to use the vantage point interaction. Use this widget when you want users to choose which vantage points supply data for downstream widgets.
Opening the Vantage Point widget configuration
Enter edit mode on the workspace, open the widget menu (ellipsis on the widget header), and click Configure. The Vantage Point configuration dialog opens.
Widget name
Set a name for the widget. The name appears in the widget header. Use a short label (for example, Vantage points or Data sources).
Data sources (vantage points)
Choose which vantage points are available in the widget. You can select multiple data sources. The list shows vantage points configured in your environment. Users will see these in the widget and can select one or more. The selection is then passed to widgets that accept vantage point interactions.
If you leave the list empty or do not restrict it, the widget may show all available vantage points. Restrict the list when you want to limit users to a specific set of data sources for this workspace.
