Configuring the Hourly Incident Backlog Widget

The Hourly Incident Backlog widget shows a time series of incident trends over time by priority. Configuration controls whether a legend is shown, where the legend appears, and the chart style (for example, bar). This widget requires the impact/incidents feature to be enabled.

Opening the widget configuration

Enter edit mode on the workspace, open the widget menu (ellipsis on the widget header), and click Configure. The Hourly Incident Backlog configuration dialog opens.

Legend

Configure whether a legend is displayed and where it appears.

• Show legend: When enabled, a legend is shown so users can see what each series or priority represents. When disabled, the legend is hidden.

• Legend position: Choose Top, Bottom, Left, or Right to place the legend relative to the chart.

Chart style

Choose how the time series is drawn. For example, Bar shows each value as a bar. Other styles (e.g. line) may be available depending on the widget implementation. Select the style that best fits how you want to compare incident backlog over time.
