Filter Panel

The Filter Panel allows you to apply filters to focus the device list on specific devicesClosed An entity type representing network devices or hardware components deployed in the customer environment that are monitored for performance and anomalies. of interest. The Packet Capture Module Web UI provides flexible options to narrow down the device list using filters.

How Filters Work

You can set filters for every column shown in the device list. The filters are cumulative, meaning selecting more than one filter criteria constitutes an "and" condition. For example, if you filter by "Status equals Connected" and "Health equals Healthy", the device list will show only devices that are both connected and healthy.

Saving and Managing Filters

You can save the filter settings to a named file to be reused later. Saving filter settings allows you to quickly apply commonly used filter combinations without having to reconfigure them each time.

You can also reset the filter criteria back to defaults, which removes all filters and shows all devices in the list.

Combining Filters with Search

Filters work in combination with the Search Bar. Filters are applied first to narrow the device list, and then the search bar can be used to further refine the results. This two-step filtering and search approach allows you to quickly focus on the exact devices you need to work with.
