Add an AWS Authentication Profile for CloudIM

After you create AWS access keys, add an authentication profile so Riverbed IQ Ops can call AWS on behalf of CloudIM. This procedure uses the AWS Signature method. Prepare the keys first in Set Up AWS Credentials for CloudIM.

For the full CloudIM setup path, see Configuring CloudIM. For the general wizard reference, see Add an Authentication Profile Wizard.

To add an AWS authentication profile for CloudIM:

  1. Sign in to Riverbed IQ Ops.

  2. Navigate to the Third-Party Profiles page:

    1. Click System (the gear icon) at the bottom of the left menu.

    2. Open Third-Party Profiles.

  3. Click Add an Authentication Profile to open the Add an Authentication Profile wizard.

  4. On the Basic Details page:

    • Accept the default HTTP headers.

    • Accept the default HTTP payload.

    Click Next.
