Configuring the Text Widget

The Text widget displays custom text with markup on the workspace. Use it for titles, instructions, or notes. Configuration is done in a single-step dialog where you set the widget name and the rich text content.

Opening the Text widget configuration

Enter edit mode on the workspace, open the widget menu (ellipsis on the widget header), and click Configure. The Text widget configuration dialog opens.

Widget name

Give the widget a name. The name appears in the widget header so you can identify it when editing or when the workspace has many widgets. Use a short, descriptive label (for example, Instructions or Notes).

Content

In the content area you can:

  • Type or paste text and apply formatting (bold, italic, lists, headings) using the editor toolbar.

  • Adjust font size and color for selected text.

  • Insert images via the insert image option. Images are embedded or linked according to the editor behavior.

The editor supports standard rich text markup. Formatting is preserved when you save the widget. Changes take effect as soon as you apply the configuration.
