Modifying an Integration After Installation

After an integration is installed, you may need to change how it is set up. For example:

  • Authentication details for the third-party product can change.

  • You may want to add connectors for additional instances or environments.

  • You may need to remove the integration.

Modifying an integration means opening the integration dialog from the Installed tab to manage connectors or to uninstall. Connectors supply the credentials that Riverbed IQ Ops uses when runbooksClosed An automated workflow that executes a series of steps or tasks in response to a triggered event, such as the detection of anomalous behavior generating an incident, a lifecycle event, or a manually executed runbook. run the integration's subflowsClosed A reusable automation chunk that performs frequently used functions, such as opening a ticket in an external system, and can be used to implement integrations with third-party systems., so keeping them up to date ensures runbooks continue to work correctly.

To open the integration dialog, click Configure on the integration's card in the Installed tab of the Integrations Library. The dialog has three tabs: Description, Content, and Configuration.

Uninstalling an Integration

From the integration dialog you can click Uninstall Integration to remove the integration from Riverbed IQ Ops.

Note: Uninstalling an integration also removes its integration-specific subflows, which will affect any runbooks in which those subflows are used.

Managing Connectors

Click the Configuration tab to access the integration's connectors. For each connector, you can click the Gear icon to open the Add a Connector wizard and change the connector's definition. You can also add new connectors or delete connectors if you need to. Use the Duplicate connector button to use an existing connector as a template for a new connector.
